Barrier – Free Environment Study in Twin cities
NPdO Organized a random study on the barrier – free environment existing, and the need for creation of such barrier-free and Disabled - Friendly environment in our focus areas, which covered random studies in 14 areas in twin cities in public places, in collaboration with CSIM and Loyola Jr. collage.
Study on 3 % Budget Allocation Schemes for PWD’s
The study has been carried out across various State Government Department and Agencies located in Karmingar District for assessing implementation of the 3 % budget provision and expenditure for the disable welfare schemes in the Karminagar districts which constitutes of 60,650 persons with disabilities, which includes 29,591 Blind, 5,887 Dumb, 2,889 Deaf, 15,255 Physical challenged, 7028 mentally retarded as per the 2001 census data.
